Ugh. Gloria Tesch

You know, some young authors give hope to others and they really show the world that it doesn't matter what age you are it's what's inside of you that counts. A vivid imagination that can spin a wonderful story full of interesting characters and flowing prose.

Gloria Tesch is not one of them.

Now I first heard of her from the DnA Movement on YouTube (Mucho love for the Black Pawn Movement!) so I decided to do a little research on her books because I love reading novels written by teenagers but what I found just made me almost die of laughter. At first I thought it was a joke but no, she has actually self-published her own book series called the Maradonia Saga. Each book is supposedly 800 pages long, I say supposedly because the font size in the book is cheating if you ask me. If you change the size to the correct one it halves the book.

But what made me laugh was not anything mentioned above, good on her to try and self-publish to make her books known, the thing that really got me was the quaility of the writing. I'm not joking when I say that it's like a 10 year old did it. I don't care if she did write the first book when she was 11, that's no excuse, she published it when she reached 13 and during that time an adult should have checked through it and told her what to change! Not simply say to her: 'Aww Darling thats fantastic! lets publish it straight away!'

Not only is the writting bad but her attitude! Oh God, she seems so full of herself! Anybody who bad mouths her book will recive a snotty message slagging them off, did I mention that she doesn't even have the guts to admitt it's her. She uses another name. Chicken. Defend your book!

I'm not trying to sound mean here but come on! It's people like her who make adults turn around and say that Teenagers shouldn't write because we're too young.

Geesh, there's lots more to add but it would turn into a 500 page rant. Put it this way, avoid this so called 'saga' it's not worth it.

Ah, music. I couldn't live without it, it's something I can listen to whenever I need to forget anything screwed up in my life (hence why I need to so much T.T)

Yesterday a new album by one of my favourite bands: Skillet, came out. It's called Awake! It's an okay album but I'm still leaning towards Comatose as being better because there's a better variety of songs, on this album it's well...Comatose is still better in my opinion! But still worth getting by all means! there are some great songs and I do have a few new favourites!

I'm also looking forward to the new Three Days Grace album coming out which I know is called: Life Starts Now.

So this ought to be good, It's going to be realised in September? Towards the end of the month, I think..

And on top of new music there's also a new book coming out! the new Hunger Games book! which is coming out on the 7th of September, I had heard that it was due out in 2010 but that must be the third book or something!

And that's pretty much all that's happenin- oh wait I forgot one totally small thing....I'm starting my final year of school on the 3rd of Sept. wish me luck cause I'm so going to need it. T.T

yes i am one of those Twilight fans! i adored the first 3 books but i haven't read Breaking Dawn but i do know what happens and this is what i want to say : WHAT THE FLIPPING HECK!?

i will probably enjoy it when i read it but i am upset that the cliche' of Bella having a kid was actually true. i haven't even read it but already i hate 'Nessie' (come on the name is shit)

SUMMER HOLIDAY RULES!!! 8 AND A HALF WEEKS OFF BABY! lol can you guess what I'm happy about? ^-^

on top of it being summer holidays my dad got me a safe! hehehehe (I'm very weird when it comes to things like this!) i love money (don't worry not an obsession just a hobby) and now i have a cool safe to put it in and save it up. it fits perfectly behind my books in my book case so I'm happy!

p.s the pic of the safe is roughly the same size as mine but mines cooler (it's black!) and has better keys and a screen on it!!! ^-^

last night i spent the time camping! whoot! gotta love camping...well at least it is if it isn't cold and bumpy on the floor -_- oh the joy.

-sigh- exams are over results are as follows:

geography: 7th

biology: =7th (big shocker to me casue i got a E on my report)

french= 80% 4th

music= 61% =7th

maths= 51% 7th

that's all i can remember from memory! but so far it's all good!!

yeah like i guessed the visit didnt go without something going wrong, we were playing on the ps3 and something went wrong and there was no picture so i got blamed for it so i went into full sulk mode (casue i didnt do anything) and my mum was bitching about how i screwed it up and guess what? bout ten minutes later it came back on. my mum didnt even say sorry to me about blaming me, (we found out that it's a bug that does happen on ps3's and you cant do anything about it so it wasnt my fault after all but did i get a 'sorry' from anyone? ah-no.)

Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating student as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody, a rock would tear that shit up in two seconds. When I play rock/ paper/ scissors, I always choose rock. i got out of school right? my parents were there as always to take me home and mum asked if i wanted to see my grandad in hospital, they....didnt think he would live much longer they thought that today might......of been his last. i've lost count of how many times i've had to bite my lips to stop myself from crying. i never cry, never. apart from now i'm very embaressed to say that i've just balled my eyes out a few minutes ago.

~dont take your family for granted because before you know it you'll be seeing them with tubes all over them and stuff to help them breath. it's not nice. ~

you know i said i spent all my mothers day preasent money? well i have an idea!!! my mum always wants to read some of my stories but i keep saying no cause i wanna have something in my life that my parents dont have something to do with , so i'm gunna write her a story!!!

a) i got to see my grandad he's alot better

b) a few of my friends text me and asked about meeting up sometime this week.

c) i got two new books!!

bad news i used up all my money and i need it to buy my mum a mothers day preasent and a birthday preasent....oops >.<

it's me yet again! i have to admitt something. i need somehelp. it's half-term right? and none of my friends are talking to me i got in contact with one of them but she said a few things and then just went 'oh i gotta go bye!' and the others wont even pick up the phone! i havent done anything to upset them cause we all agreed to meet up in half-term but now...nadda.

any advice will be greatly accepted. thank you.

so whats happening in my life? mmm well one of my grandparents is is hospital and we dont know whats wrong, other than that not much is really going on!
